The sky today
Is the same color as my mood
I am feeling very misty
The rain drops melt my every tear
My heart feels as though it has been
Ripped from my chest
All of this because I know
You do not cannot and will not
Ever in this life be mine
A mistake drove us together
Love drove us apart
Now we will never be one
Love wasn't isn't and never
Will be mine
In all of my life
Love has escaped me
Maybe love does not exist
I know it doesn't for me
Forgive me for all my mistakes
I never meant:
To hurt you
To disappoint you
To anger you
To love you
To want you
To need you
Or to care at all about you
If I could stop my hurt
I would stop caring
But neither of us is
Capable of not caring
Even if you hate me
At least you care
