Time goes by so fast
I wonder where it goes
We've had our fun
But good times must end
I knew it would happen
Because it's happened before
I hate to say goodbye
To the ones I love
I guess I have no choice

Why does friendship have to be so hard?
We've had our good times

We always come out smiling
I wonder why?
How?
I've never felt this strongly
About any other friend
All I know is you're leaving
Then I am
I don't want to say goodbye
To another friendship
I hate saying goodbye
I've never been closer to anyone
Just you
You and only you mean the world to me
I didn't mean it when I said
I'd give you up for her
I wouldn't
I wouldn't give you up for anything
That's part of what makes our relationship
So special to us
The fact that we know
No matter what we are always
Always there for one another
I guess this is my goodbye
If we are fighting
This is my way of saying goodbye
